Future Day for Kids at Our Company – Hands-on Experience
As part of this year’s Future Day on April 23, 2026, we welcomed a total of 11 children to our company. The aim of the day was to give young people a hands-on insight into our working environment and to spark their interest in technical and craft-based activities.

After a brief introduction to our company, the participants immediately began a series of interactive workshops, with a strong focus on hands-on learning and independent experimentation.
One of the highlights was a miniature golf course designed and built entirely by our apprentices, using conveyor belt materials and a great deal of creativity. The children also had the opportunity to test their strength by repeatedly fastening conveyor belts in a continuous loop – a task that proved more challenging than expected. Practical repair processes were demonstrated using damaged belts as an example, providing a clear insight into real-world maintenance work.
Material understanding also played an important role: the participants were able to test how far polyurethane rods can be bent depending on their Shore hardness.
Another activity that generated great excitement was a transport safety challenge, in which water balloons were packaged in such a way that they could withstand a drop from a considerable height. The results spoke for themselves – with only one exception, all “shipments” survived intact.
Once again, Future Day demonstrated how important it is to combine theory and practice and to give young people early insights into potential career paths.
We would like to thank everyone involved for their commitment and hope that this day left a lasting impression on the children.
