Blue Phoenix in Denmark has implemented a tailored dust-suppression system at its construction- and demolition-waste processing facility on Vindmøllevej in Copenhagen. The installation follows the commissioning of a new indoor robotic sorting line designed to automatically separate wood, iron, metals, plastics, and other materials to improve recycling rates and documentation of material flows.

Spray bar mounted at the end of a conveyor belt, equipped with three nozzles calibrated to 0.25 L/min
Robotic sorting of construction and demolition waste generates high levels of dust inside the hall, impacting equipment performance and creating challenging working conditions. To address this, Blue Phoenix in Denmark partnered with Lutze Process Denmark, the Danish representative of Nebolex Umwelttechnik GmbH, to develop a solution that would enhance workplace safety while maintaining high operational efficiency.
Lutze Process Denmark delivered a customized system engineered according to Nebolex’s technical recommendations and tailored to the specific requirements of the site. The installation features heated Isoklett insulation for all hoses, ensuring frost protection, and includes an automatic drainage function for reliable year-round operation, even in harsh winter conditions.
The project was executed jointly by Lutze Process Denmark and Nebolex, with Lutze providing ongoing service and maintenance.
Benefits achieved:
- Reduced dust levels and an improved indoor working environment
- Increased operational stability and extended equipment lifetime
- A solution supporting Blue Phoenix’s goals for efficient and sustainable waste processing
Lutze Process Denmark and Nebolex thank Blue Phoenix for their trust and look forward to continued cooperation in advancing circular, resource-efficient solutions.
