Lutze Group press release on January 12, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. CET

At the beginning of December 2022, the Lutze Group took over Germany's largest Metso Outotec dealer, Fischer-Jung Aufbereitungstechnik GmbH, based in Krefeld. The acquired company is now known as Lutze Process Germany GmbH.

The Lutze Group, which already has more than 40 locations and is known for wear protection and conveying technology, has been expanding the classic business focus to include machines for mineral processing for some time.

Lutze started selling slurry pumps in the Benelux region in the last decade; since 2017, stationary crushing and screening plants from the technology group Sandvik and other products for wet processing from the company Stichweh have also been added.

Most recently, Lutze took over the Danish company DGM (Dansk Grusgrav Material ApS) in 2020 and has thus become a Metso Outotec dealer for Denmark, Greenland and the Faroe Islands. DGM is a traditional company that has been supplying Metso Outotec stationary and mobile crushing and screening equipment to the stone and gravel, construction, mining, mineral processing, concrete and asphalt industries in parts of Scandinavia for 50 years. DGM meanwhile trades under the name Lutze Process Denmark ApS.

In 2022, the Lutze Group took another step and acquired the company Fischer-Jung Aufbereitungstechnik GmbH in Krefeld. In doing so, we secured the exclusive Metso Outotec dealership for mobile crushing and screening plants for large parts of Germany (sales areas in western Germany and Baden-Württemberg). The company Fischer-Jung Bau- und Recyclingtechnik GmbH based in Arnsdorf near Dresden is not part of this takeover and will continue to operate in eastern Germany and parts of Bavaria.

The new company Lutze Process Germany GmbH is regarded as a pioneer in the restructuring of our business areas within the Lutze Group. The management of the entire company, with around 550 employees, plans to handle the sales of processing plants in Benelux and Scandinavia via separate companies, which also have the suffix "Process" in the company name. In this way, the conveyor technology business can be separated more clearly from process technology - as is now the case in Germany.

As a result of the acquisition, the group is expected to increase its turnover to between 125 and 130 million euros in 2023. Lutze's goal is to shift the company's orientation to the second pillar in addition to wear protection and conveying technology. To do this, they want to use the existing infrastructure of the Lutze Group, both in terms of sales and service, in order to gain market share, especially in southern Germany.

Markus Püllen was appointed managing director of Lutze Process Germany GmbH, Ralph Phlippen took over the operative business as authorized signatory.

Lutze Process Germany GmbH is an authorized dealer of Metso:Outotec in western Germany and Baden-Württemberg and supplies mobile crushing and screening plants to the gravel and stone industry, contractors, the demolition and recycling industry, mineral processing, process industry, as well as the concrete and asphalt industry.

The Lutze Group, with headquarters in Einbeck Germany, has entities in 6 European countries and employs around 550 people in more than 40 sites. In 2022, our net sales will reach about EUR 100 million. Quality makes the difference.
